Along with the rest of the world, we’re learning to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic this summer. Here at the Orchard, here are the ways we are learning to adjust and respect this new normal:
- We ask customers to wear a mask in the store for the safety of everyone at the Orchard
- We are limiting the number of customers in the store to 50 at a time
- We are not allowing eating on the premise
- We have removed the sample booth, and samples of our products will not be given this year
- All fudge is still made fresh daily and packed immediately
- Ice cream is only sold in pints and 1/2 pints this summer to allow for social distancing inside the store
- All BBQ is take-out
- Customer carts are washed daily and sanitized between each use
- The number of employees in the kitchen has been limited
- Peaches are now sold at the pavilion to the limit customers inside the store
